Operation Warm Heart is a program developed by the Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless, which has helped find emergency housing for more than 10,000 households. Through the program, 14-20 individuals are housed in various houses of worship throughout Union County from December to March. The First Presbyterian Church of Cranford chapter provides various goods and services to these individuals, including a
place to rest for the night.
Tuesdays from December – March, members of the Cranford community pitch in to serve and house the homeless at First Presbyterian Church. Volunteer opportunities are available.
Join us in praying for Christ’s ongoing ministry at First Presbyterian Church, Cranford NJ! We will meet at 11 AM in Snyder Memorial Chapel to offer prayer and silent reflection as we seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit for His church. If you can’t come to the chapel, pray wherever you are at that time and allow the Spirit to wash over us and mold us into His ministry going forward.
Caroler Choir Rehearsals Thursday Afternoons 3:30-4:15 Choir room
Caroler Choir is for children in grades 1-3. We learn to sing together and have fun while reinforcing team work, improving singing skills, develop poise, and training children as worship leaders. We sing in church once a month. Where can you get so much for so little– No tuition required!
Crusader Choir Rehearsals Thursday afternoons 4:30-5:15 Choir room
Crusader Choir is for children in grades 4-6. We build on the skills we have learned previously (although new comers are always welcome), adding more difficult and thought-provoking anthems. These children form the backbone of the cast for two cantatas a year, a highlight for us all.

God has given us our wonderful building so that Christ’s life-changing ministry may occur in Cranford.
The first Saturday of every month (except the month of July), the Board of Trustees and other dedicated members and friends of FPCC convene at the Church Office and attend to the numerous opportunities that present itself for the upkeep, maintenance and repairs to the Church buildings and grounds. These monthly gatherings help the Church save monies that would not be able to be channeled to other ministries that serve our community if it were not for the dedication of these Buildings and Grounds volunteers. Bravo!
Come join us for a couple of hours to create a warm, welcoming home for all who come here. Donuts and coffee provided.
