series of informal gatherings, designed to answer questions and
build relationships. Topics for the Membership Exploration Group

and “What It Means to Be a Healthy Church Member.” If you’d like to attend the Membership Exploration
Group, or if you have questions, please call the Church Office at 908-274-8440.
Regular Membership Exploration groups provide
visitors and friends of First Presbyterian Church with a forum for
asking questions, building relationships and growing in faith. Three
(& sometimes four) times each year—fall, winter, and spring—all
visitors and friends interested in learning more about their faith,
our Christian/Protestant/Reformed/Presbyterian identity, and membership
at First Presbyterian Church are invited to take part in our Membership
Exploration Series. Led by the pastor and others, this
4-part series of discussion-based gatherings is designed to answer
questions and build relationships. Topics include “God’s
Story/My Story,” “What It Means to Be a Christian,”
“What It Means to Be Presbyterian,” and “What
