FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF CRANFORD RECEIVES THE 2018 UNION COUNTY HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION AWARD FOR CLERGY

Prestigious Award Received by First Presbyterian Church, Cranford, NJ

The First Presbyterian Church of Cranford was honored to receive the 2018 Union County Human Relations Commission Award for Clergy on May 7 at Kean University.  Church members Catherine Felegi, Janice Grevious  and Skip Winter were noted for their outreach to the community with their leadership and involvement in Operation Warmheart, a program for homeless men and women sponsored by the Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless in Elizabeth, the FISH program, a transitional housing program for homeless families run by the FISH Hospitality Network of Piscataway and the Martin Luther King Day of Service, a program honoring the Rev. Martin Luther King, co-sponsored by the Cranford Clergy Council.  The Rev. Al Brown, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Cranford presented the award.  The Rev. Chris Kile of the First Presbyterian Church of Cranford, accepted the award on behalf of the recipients and the congregation.
