COME AND WORSHIP!
Sunday at 10 a.m. (September through June in the Sanctuary)
(summer: 9 a.m. & 10:30 in air-conditioned Snyder Chapel)
With its cathedral ceiling, warm wood tones
and glorious stained glass, First Presbyterian Church’s uniquely
beautiful sanctuary provides an inspiring setting in which to seek
and find God. Wonderful music, personal and corporate prayer, and
challenging preaching are the foundations of a worship experience
whose priorities are welcoming children and visitors into our fellowship—and
connecting our faith in Jesus Christ to the challenges and joys
of living in today’s world.
Because God’s Holy Spirit is always
present when families and generations worship together, children
ages 5–13 begin each Sunday in the sanctuary with their parents
and other members and friends. Children play a central role in our
worship experience, especially at the eagerly-anticipated Children’s
Message, before they move on to their Sunday School classrooms to
learn and experience of the love of God.
Fellowship Time/Coffee Hour: In the fall,
winter and spring months, visitors, members and friends gather after
10:00 a.m. worship in the Thomson Youth Center to share refreshments
and greet new and old friends.
In the warmer summer months, First Pres.
Cranford’s worshiping community shares refreshments and fellowship
from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30—between the two Sunday services in
air-conditioned Snyder Chapel.
