The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way that we interact with one another, and has transformed and magnified the ways society grieves from a loss. The First Presbyterian Church of Cranford (FPCC) has announced it is moving its free seminar, “Journey to Wholeness – Healing the Grieving Heart” online, to best adjust to the current pandemic landscape. This unique seminar will take place online for 6 Sundays, beginning September 20, 2020 and ending on October 25, 2020.  Attendance at all 6 sessions is mandatory, as one session builds on the next.  Those interested in attending should call Patti Williams, seminar founder and trained pastoral bereavement counselor, to register at 908-709-1341.

Weekly Morningsong Prayer Service

We know everyone misses the community and fellowship of in-person worship. However, we want to move cautiously and safely along the road toward the “new normal.” This means trying some new things in socially distanced settings with proper precautions in place.
The Worship Team along with Pastor Leigh Gillis is excited to announce a weekly service of morning prayer Tuesday mornings at 8:30 am.  You are welcome to gather in-person for “Morningsong” in the air-conditioned Dorothy Snyder Chapel.
The service will consist of scripture, prayer, meditative music (from CD) and a brief word from Pastor Leigh. Masks are required . The service will be limited to 20-25 people depending on individuals, duos, or family groupings. Individuals or groups will be expected to socially distance every other pew on opposite ends of the chapel pews. Your Session met this way last week successfully.
We look forward to seeing you early risers or folks on the way to work for this special worship time together.

TRUSTEES “B & G” WORK DAY @ Meet in Main Office

TRUSTEES "B & G" WORK DAY @ Meet in Main Office | Cranford | New Jersey | United States

God has given us our wonderful building so that Christ’s life-changing ministry may occur in Cranford.

The first Saturday of every month (except the month of July), the Board of Trustees and other dedicated members and friends of FPCC convene at the Church Office and attend to the numerous opportunities that present itself for the upkeep, maintenance and repairs to the Church buildings and grounds. These monthly gatherings help the Church save monies that would not be able to be channeled to other ministries that serve our community if it were not for the dedication of these Buildings and Grounds volunteers. Bravo!

Come join us for a couple of hours to create a warm, welcoming home for all who come here.  Donuts and coffee provided.
