You’re Invited to Celebrate Easter!
The First Presbyterian Church of Cranford, 11 Springfield Ave., Cranford, NJ, is offering multiple opportunities to join in family-friendly worship during the Easter season. Services include both traditional and unique worship experiences.
PALM SUNDAY, April 14: Worship at 10AM celebrating Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem. All will gather in the main Sanctuary and wave palms while the children process down the aisles, praising and singing. Additionally, the Adult Choir will sing. All children are welcome to participate in the processional!
MAUNDY THURSDAY, April 18 Held in the church’s Snyder Memorial Chapel (signs will indicate where to go), 7:30PM. This worship service will commemorate Jesus’ last supper with His disciples before His passion through reflections on traditional scriptures and communion served in an intimate setting.
EASTER “SONRISE” SERVICE, April 21: 8AM in the Narthex (enclosed front porch) of the church. Weather permitting, everyone is welcomed to come and worship outside and bask in the spring air while celebrating Jesus’ resurrection with an “unplugged” acoustic version of Easter Worship.
TRADITIONAL EASTER SERVICE, April 21: 10AM in the main Sanctuary. Full choirs, glorious music and beautiful flowers symbolizing rebirth will enrich the celebration of Christ’s resurrection. All are invited forward at the end of the service to sing Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus. This worship service is Family Friendly! Childcare will be provided for infants to 5-year olds, and a special gift will be given to children during the special “Children’s Message”.

A Celebration of the Helen K Baldwin Nursery School: On April 28 at 10AM in the main Sanctuary, we will celebrate the 63 years of Helen K. Baldwin’s service to Cranford and beyond. Teachers, parents, current students and alums are encouraged to attend so that we can rejoice together, thanking this wonderful school for their services.
