it's not about us

Every Christian is called to care about their neighbor.

You can get involved by volunteering with one of our caring ministries - locally or globally -

or be the answer to someone's prayer by giving financially.

service and mission

showing the love of christ

The Service and Mission Team of the First Presbyterian Church of Cranford (FPCC) provides opportunities for the congregation and community to experience the transformational powers of Christ through serving others. Volunteers are always welcome.

LOCAL IMPACT

FPCC supports a number of local organizations who assist those in need, and for over 30 years has been home base for The Cranford-Elmora Soup Kitchen.  FPCC members and volunteers assemble  picnic meals for Rahway Food for Friends and others who are suffering from food insecurity.

GLOBAL IMPACT

Members of our church have participated in mission trips to help those in need in Nicaragua, Brazil, Cuba and various locations within the United States.  We provide support to missionaries in Peru and Greece, who work with refugees and impoverished populations.

Deacons

the caring arm of the church

Deacons have a very special role in the life of the church. From preparing communion elements to organizing emergency meal trains, visiting those who are homebound or writing cards and letters to show love and caring,  they radiate the love of Jesus to all!  If you've stayed for coffee and treats after church, thank a Deacon!
